Bluetooth® Range

In order to test the effective range of the Bluetooth® connection for your thermometer, connect your thermometer to your compatible smart device and walk in a straight line away from the thermometer, making sure there is nothing physical separating the connection between you and the thermometer, such as the walls or the floors of your home.

Physical structures and wireless signals from cordless phones or wireless internet will interfere with the strength of the Bluetooth® connection for any device. If you are still unsatisfied with the range you are experiencing with your thermometer, you can also try inserting a fresh set of batteries and testing again.
