I keep seeing a message that says, "Connection Timeout." How can I pair my Weber iGrill 2 so I can continue grilling?

The connection timeout message appears when the connection between your smart device and your Weber iGrill 2 is interrupted.

Follow these steps to re-establish connection with your Weber iGrill 2:
  • Open the settings menu on your smart device
  • Navigate to Bluetooth®
  • If there are any pairings appearing for the Weber iGrill 2, select the icon to the right of them and then select some variation of 'Forget this Device' or 'Unpair' to remove them
  • Open the Weber iGrill app and pair the Weber iGrill 2
  • The Weber iGrill app may prompt you to perform a firmware update. Perform the update and continue to the next step.

    If you have previously updated your firmware, perform a reset with these steps:
  • Separate the Weber iGrill 2 from its base
  • Open the battery compartment
  • Hold down the reset button in the battery compartment for about 5 seconds. When the Weber iGrill 2 has reset successfully, the LED display will move and the Weber iGrill 2 will beep. Replace the battery door
  • Open the Settings menu on your smart device
  • Select Bluetooth
  • If there are any previous pairings appearing for the Weber iGrill 2, select 'Forget this device' to remove them
  • Open the Weber iGrill app and pair the Weber iGrill 2
