My Weber iGrill Mini is brand new and it will not turn on!
Sometimes the included CR2032 Coin Battery in the Weber iGrill Mini does not make proper contact with the device’s Negative Battery Terminal. This may cause the Weber iGrill Mini to not turn on.
If your Weber iGrill Mini is exhibiting these symptoms, it is helpful to ensure that the Negative Battery Terminal is indeed making proper contact with the negative side of the CR2032 Coin Battery.
To make sure it is, follow the steps below:
1. Remove the Weber iGrill
Mini from its base, remove the battery compartment door, and remove the battery
2. The silver piece you see is the negative battery terminal. With your index finger pull back the negative battery terminal so it is raised roughly at a 75° angle.
3. Seat your battery back in the Weber iGrill
Mini to see if it powers on.
Pull back a little more if the issue still is not resolved or please use a fresh CR2032 battery. If you have any further questions, please contact our Weber iGrill team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
